Why Search Marketing Insights?
I used to blog a fair bit before. Then life started to change very rapidly for me, and although I didn’t have much time to blog any more between starting a new business from scratch and life in general, I didn’t lose track of events within the search marketing industry. I tried being involved through micro blogging, commenting on blogs, and chatting with other SEO’s through IM. All of which was a great experience in bringing about a balance between a hectic work life actually ‘doing’ search marketing, vs. keeping up with my passion for the evolving world of search, and the geniuses that drive that growth.
But Twitter, IM, and Comments didn’t satisfy me as much as blogging did. 160 characters or on and off conversations didn’t allow me to find my voice again, and so here I am - up and at it again.
About Me
My name’s Dev. I’ve been playing around with computers since I was 5 years old. Rest assured, I’m much older than that now. I’ve worked in well known search marketing agencies, and in-house for the world’s largest online forex trading company. I started working for Microsoft Canada when I was just 17, something I’d been wanting to do since I started using Windows 3.11 for work groups (Yes, I’m a geek and proud of it!).
Today, I’m the Director of Online Marketing for Publipage Inc. - One of the largest Certified Marketing Representative agencies for the Yellow Pages Group. Between working for a dedicated search marketing company in the past, and an in-house forex powerhouse, I felt that I could a world of good for all the businesses traditionally represented in the Yellow Pages by helping them leverage a presence online.
I’ve been fortunate enough in life to grow up in a lot of different places around the world. Having lived in various parts of India, Ireland, and Canada has really contributed to a lot of personal growth for me.

Instead of going on and on about my unique selling point or proprietory advice that will change your life and turn you into a millionaire over-night, I’ll cut the hype out, leaving with advice that works. Think about that for a second - My promise to you is to deliver
