Interesting topic. I’ve been doing research in Asia lately for the last months with the hope of opening up an office there somewhere. My experience was that a lot of the Asian countries feature a lot of bad English and cross-cultural miscommunication. However, my impressions of Malaysia so far have been quite good. I’ve found some experienced people both in design and programming, as well as they have good English writing and speaking skills.

Philippines is considered as a third English speaking country and they have a lot of outsourcing company that provides high skilled professionals and excellent customer service.

Not particularly happy about most freelance job boards as they are full of cheap but incompetent Asians with the problems the first commenter mentioned. However, I can say that on DP we have found a couple of really nice copywriters so that is definitely a way to go.

BTW what do you use for inserting these images into your posts? Looks like Tagaroo to me, no?

Nice Blog great post. Wondering if you have any recommendation for finding English based writers for my article directory at http://www.topshopsweb.com not looking to pay more trade for links etc. But if I had to pay to get things going that’s possible if they can rewrite plr.
